From Boston, where they recently won the World Series, comes this:Another moment of hilarious stupidity in Little League!

I mean, come on!! “Stop Speaking Spanish?!” What the hell was this idiot thinking?! This is almost as bad as that damned thing going around the internet proclaiming that “If you’re gonna live here, speak the language!”

Yes, I agree, folks living here should be able to speak English. I also believe that they should be able to speak their native tongue! Like it or not, that’s what I believe. Hell, half the time the people born and raised here barely have an understanding of our language – now we’re humiliating and yelling at little kids who are learning it as a SECOND language?

Moron.

  1. That’s rediculous. English isn’t even our official language. Yes, they probably should learn it, but it’s an incredibly tough language to learn. They shouldn’t have to be worrying about what language they happen to be speaking in the middle of a game.

        I mean, just imagine a guy saying, and meaning, “All right! No more speaking Spanish! Next guy to speak Spanish is outta here. Coaches too!” How do you do that with a straight face?!
        Lets hope he doesn’t get on a roll! What would be next? “All you women with jobs – Quit them and go back to your kitchens!”

          “All you short people – go back in your homes and don’t come out until you’re over 5′ 8”.
          “I don’t care if you’re blind, deaf AND dumb, that seeing-eye dog is NOT coming into this restaurant!!”
          “Senior discount?! Oh sure, pal, I’ll give ya a break cuz you’re old! Right after you prove you’re still worthy to society!! Now step outta line or I’ll kick that walker right out from under ya!”
