Not much time, but I wanted to throw this out there.
CLICK HERE To hear an interview that I did recently with Tamar Charney, from WUOM, Michigan Radio – the Ann Arbor NPR affiliate. She was doing a piece on the Michigan Economy, and wanted to talk with someone from the Arts who’s job had been eliminated due to the economy. It aired today at 7:30am and 5:40pm. [EDIT: You may have to scroll down, the segment was on August 29, 2005]
The piece is nice, if a little short – there are some interesting interviews (I’m only in a chunk of it) – unfortunately all of my discussion of my partners in the WTP was left on the editing room floor, which is a bummer, but at least the name of the company is out there. AND on their website, Michigan Radio, you can see a pic of me and there’s a link to the WTP site.
I tried to avoid sounding like an idiot – let me know what you think.
Tony-
it’s me-Beth-just to clarify. I thought the interview was very nice. You didn’t sound like an idiot. You sounded honest and well-spoken. And it was a great plug for Williamston! That’s awesome!
Thanks Beth! We need to set up that coffee date!
Yep, the interview turned out nice – hopefully folks will hear it and it’ll put the WTP in their heads.
So let’s see…what good usernames can we come up with for Beth…hmmm….Betsy, Bethalicious, MoeBettaBeth, Eliza-Beth, Moe…hmmm…I’ll keep thinking…
Rock on
I thought . . . and Tom totally agreed . . . that you sounded really well spoken. Great piece and great publicity. I thought you handled it all well.

Re: Rock on
Thanks Annie! Thank Tom for me, too! I’ve done interviews before, of course, but this was my first NPR, and probably biggest audience to date. I mean, ‘up to this point in my life’, not “to date” – I’m married, I won’t be dating anyone but my wife. And since we have kids, even that’s slowed down…but I digress…
Thanks for coming over and checking it out!
