Williamston Theatre is getting a facelift!
Here’s a shot of the building with a new paint job:

Over the next few weeks, we’ll be getting a marquee/awning over the front door, a new sign for the second story, new lights over the windows and the window on the left will be turned into a display case.

Hey, thanks! Glad you like it!
Not really new sponsors, we got a couple of matching grants specifically earmarked for exterior/facade improvement. So we got a new coat of paint on all 3 exterior sides of the building, and some re-construction done on some woodwork along the front (in the middle, where the dark blue line goes horizontally across, used to be a big “shelf” but it was old and rotted, so it’s gone!)
The 3 windows along the top are all brand new, too – I forgot to mention that in the post!
I can’t wait – we’ll have new decorative lights, a big marquee/awning thing with lights under it, and some other signage and display stuff soon! It’s very exciting!

Excellent. Good job to whoever did the grant request writing. You’ll have to take an after photo. 🙂
