…another little add on about the whole Tom Selleck thing…that year when he was asked to be in Raider’s and had to turn it down, SAG, i believe, went on strike and there was no filming done in the US…Raider’s was filmed abroad and was able to keep filming…so as it turned out, Tom could have shot the movie and honored his Magnum PI contract still. You know, if you really look objectively, I can see Tom pulling off everything Harrison does in the movies. Sure they’d be different, but that just goes without saying. I bet they’d still have been hits.

You know, I had forgotten that little trivia fact about Tom Selleck being the original guy cast in the role! Interesting to think of what it might have been…
