A nice reminder…
Q) – What attracts you to theatre as a narrative form?
A) –
I like the immediacy. I love the intense experience of being in the dark with strangers, sharing that experience with the performers on stage. It’s still uniquely alive and vibrant and connected in our increasingly disconnected environments. I am attracted to the emotional catharsis and impact possible as a story-teller that is different from a film. Yes, I may have had emotional reactions to a movie, but did I share it with 200 others at the same time? I feel that the shared experience has a different quality that is perhaps more powerful.

Another great review!
The Rogue Critic has published another review of Greater Tuna, and it’s wonderful!
Greater Tuna and its characters are first and foremost exceptionally funny. Caselli, Gribble, and Parker infuse the play’s two acts with comic moments both overt and sly, making mirth of everyday and exceptional occurrences alike. Were the characters merely cartoonish, the production couldn’t be nearly as humorous as it is with these varied, well-formed personas enjoying the comforts and patterns of small-town life.

The Green Lantern Movie – I can’t wait to see this!
This is our new puppy, FlipFlop!
Flip came in into our home because, well… I saw him in a box of puppies and fell in love! He’s a 9-week-old Schnoodle, very sweet and loving!
The Detroit Tigers are making some good moves – starting with a relief pitcher, Joaquin Benoit, and today the word is that they’ve added Victor Martinez, a very nice pickup for the Catcher position!
Greater Tuna continues to get good reviews and packed houses!
Quotes from the latest review, from the Lansing State Journal:
Greater Tuna will keep you laughing from beginning to end.
You will be awed by Parker and Gribble!”
Happy Thanksgiving!!
