Swiped from kradical and others

Okay, let’s try this…

1. Reply with your name and I will write something about you.
2. I will then tell what song/movie/TV show/whatever reminds me of you.
3. If I were to apply an o’clock to you, it would be…
4. I will try to name a single word that best describes you.
5. I’ll tell you the most memorable moment I’ve had with you.
6. I will tell you what animal you remind me of.
7. I’ll then tell you something that I’ve always wondered about you.
8. Put this in your journal. (if you have one!)

Let’s see how much trouble I can cause with this little thing! Don’t be shy, jump in!

This would have to be Timothy Busfield, the actor. When I first met you, I thought you looked a bit like him, and for some reason that’s stuck with me ever since!
      3. If I were to apply an o’clock to you, it would be…
I gotta go with 11:45pm. Just seems to fit!
      4. I will try to name a single word that best describes you.
      Contemplative.
      5. I’ll tell you the most memorable moment I’ve had with you.
Chatting about career stuff in 103.
      6. I will tell you what animal you remind me of.
A golden Retriever. In a good way!
      7. I’ll then tell you something that I’ve always wondered about you.
What do you want to do more, design, TechDirector, act, other?

    • Nope, not too late!
      2. I will then tell what song/movie/TV show/whatever reminds me of you.
Well, that would have to be X-Files, since you’re Scully’s twin…
      3. If I were to apply an o’clock to you, it would be…
9am. Don’t know why, but it’s what came to mind!!
      4. I will try to name a single word that best describes you.
      Motivated
      5. I’ll tell you the most memorable moment I’ve had with you.
*laugh* Me directing, You and Lepard onstage trying to get through the scene with Randy and Daba offstage doing dialogue:
      Big Thump Offstage.
      Randy: “Owwww….”
      Daba: “Sorry.”
You and Lepard: 4 seconds of trying to hold it together followed by 30 seconds of uncontrolled giggling.
(Lather, rinse, repeat about a dozen times!)
      God that was funny…
      6. I will tell you what animal you remind me of.
Tough one. I’m going with a Red Fox. (I dunno, I suppose it’s the hair, again?!)
      7. I’ll then tell you something that I’ve always wondered about you.
What was it like to go to school to become a Classical Pastry Chef, and why’d you not make a career of it?

      • Re: Nope, not too late!
Fits of giggling remembering that moment in rehearsal. Thanks for the trip down memory lane.
To answer #7: Pastry school was great. School is always fun. Learning new things every day, stretching my mind and developing new skills was terrific. I was good at it too… top of the class. All my stuff looked and tasted good. There’s an artistry about food in general that I love.
I went to school in the first place because I was so sick and tired of the rat race I was in in NYC and thought this would be a good change. And a career I could pour myself into.
I should have interned in a professional kitchen first. Everything that school was, working in the industry wasn’t. I got up at 4am, went into a noisy kitchen and produced the same muffins every day. I stood next to a German bread baker who, frankly, didn’t bathe enough and who had limited conversation skills. Not that we could have talked much anyway because the kitchen was so noisy. So it was solitary drudgery. When I worked on the pastry line in a restaurant, it was a little bit better because the action was different from moment to moment based on what people ordered. And I could make things quickly that looked lovely. But that was repetitive too. And then I discovered that foodies are even more peculiar than theater people. So I decided to return to the theater.
I still love to cook and bake. But now I can be creative and make different things. Can’t wait to get my own kitchen again to cook in.
        Does than answer your question?
