So, a bunch of exciting things happened in the last day or two:
The Chicago White Sox won the World Series! Congrats to all of Chicago (except the miserable Cubs fans who can’t bring themselves to cheer, big dorks!) What a great series! It was a sweep, but all of the games were close and exciting.
Maggie decided that last night would be a good time to get sick to her stomach. So, I got home from rehearsal, and Jeanne was sitting up with her. I let Jeanne go to bed, cuz she’s gotta get up at 5:30 to get ready to work, then I stayed up with Maggie most of the night as she kept having to throw up. Poor thing. She’s doing better today, although we’re both tired!
And, in awesome WTP news; this morning, Christine and I had our walk-thru of the building with the contractor!! Finally! A great guy who really knew what he was doing, (or so it seemed to me!), he said he’d get back to us within a week for our first solid bid on the first stage of our renovation!
And now, off to do some housework and prep for tonight’s rehearsal!
sorry to hear Maggie’s sick.
Poor kid.
Hope you get some rest soon.
Congrats on the theatre stuff. Awesome!
She’s doing better today, thanks!
Thanks for the WTP congrats, too! Very excited about the next step.
Glad you finally got to do the walk-thru! Good luck on your bids!
It must be going around. Poor little thing!
I think it was something she ate, versus a stomach-flu kind of thing. I’m really hoping that’s the case, cuz then it won’t go thru the whole family for the next 2 weeks!
Ugh. Kids and their germs!
Tell Margarita that Uncle Dominic said it’s OK for her to throw up in your slippers, that will make her feel better.
Is this the same contractor that postponed?
Heh, I’ll let her know – she’ll have something smart-alecky to say, and I’ll let you know what it is!
Yep, it’s the same contractor. He was great, apologized for not being able to make the last meeting, and we had a very useful walk-thru. Now we wait for his bid!
