Random yay’s and nay’s…

Rehearsals for Leaving Iowa are going great, the tech process was awesome. YAY!

Is it just me? Whenever I see someone driving a Jeep, and they have the big giant window sticker that says “It’s a Jeep thing – you wouldn’t understand.”, I want to get out of my car, go over and punch them in the head and say “It’s a Not-being-an-arrogant-ass thing. You wouldn’t understand.” NAY.

On Wednesday of next week the construction for Williamston Theatre’s seating platforms begins. YAY!

This morning, as I was eating my cereal (Heart Smart – thank you very much), I had the misfortune to see a bit of the Ben Affleck/Christina Applegate/James Gandolfini train wreck movie Surviving Christmas. Oh. My. God. I was embarassed for them, for the people who wrote/produced/directed it, and for anyone who even had to work on it. And I only saw 15 minutes. NAY.

The Detroit Tigers took 2 out of 3 in Oakland, not an easy thing to do! They’re currently tied for 2nd place in the division at 9-7, two games over .500! Will it last? Who knows?! But it’s nice while it’s here! YAY!

  1. My favorite was the soccer mom who had no intentions of going off-road in her jeep, it was prestine…not lifted, no off-road kit-jeep liberty. With that saying plastered on the front.
    I wanted to hit her….
I could maybe understand the Cherokee’s that are tricked out to run off road or in the dunes and lifted….but, that? No, sorry.

  2. I think she means a Wrangler, or a CJ-5.
The movie may have been horribly bad, but doesn’t Christina Applegate get better looking the older she gets?
Tigers won tonite, in the 9th.
I only know that cause the Wings game was already over…

  3. JEEPS
Hey I drive a Jeep. And I like the saying. 85 CJ7. And let me tell ya, with the top and doors off on a warm spring day there isn’t much better in the world.
There is a similar saying for riding a motorcycle, something like “If I have to explain it you wouldn’t get it” But what do I know. It takes all kinds.
Congrats on the seats. Glad to hear things are going well. Are you in town on Thursday or Friday? If so maybe I can come by and see the work.
    Talk to you soon.
    Spencer
