Is it July yet?

Currently: About to fall asleep in my chair.
Earlier: Driving around running errands, picking things up, listening to the Tigers beat the Red Sox on the radio.
Earlier than that: Rehearsing. A long day, but a ton of great work. A huge day, we did our first full run thru of the show with all of the tech. Everything worked very well. (Now everyone knock on wood, quick.)
Proof of rehearsal – our lovely Assistant Stage Manager Erica took a bunch of photos. She emailed them to me – click the link to see one:

This is me giving direction to Brian and Dennis, two of the actors in the show.
I like this photo because you can’t tell how much weight I need to lose, you can kind of see the theatre coming together, and it looks like I’m trying to fly away. I like the way it looks so much that I’m going to do that from now on, no matter what direction I’m giving. *flap flap flap*

So, got home around 10:15 tonight, and my 6 year was still up! He and Jeanne were reading, in his bed – he was finally getting tired, but read to me a bit before crashing for the night. A little bit of Chocolate Chippo Hippo, thank you very much. Poor guy usually is asleep hours before that, but just couldn’t tonight. He’ll sleep well tonight, I bet! It’s been such a busy couple of weeks, getting things ready for our first show, that I’ve not been able to hang out or cuddle the family nearly as much as I’d like. It was nice to see Max awake for a change!

Was planning on a journal entry about what a great weekend it’s been, progress, dreams…but I’m too tired. I’ll never make it thru. Maybe tomorrow, after our last rehearsal of the week!

Oh, PS: Williamston Theatre has a new website! Check it out here!

  1. Awesome pictures and the website looks great! I talked to John tonight and though I probably won’t be able to make a show because of the schedule for Honus, I’m definitely planning a visit on a Monday for at least a tour. πŸ™‚

  2. Pic
Hey I realy like the desks the actors are using πŸ˜‰
Glad to hear things are going so well. Break a leg.

  3. Full moon?
Was it a full moon last night? I couldn’t get David to bed either. He didn’t go to bed until 11:00, normally he’s out by 9:30. And then, he visited our room 5 times between 3 and 4 am until I finally gave in and told him to get in bed with me and his daddy. I normally don’t give in, but last night I had a toothache, and you can only get in and out of bed so many times when you’re 8 months pregnant!!!
