Some quick morning thoughts…

Heroes season finale…hmmm…I’m hoping that was a quickie solution they came up with because of the writer’s strike? I found it a little dissatisfying. Chuck, on the other hand, continues to be something that I really enjoy – as improbable and silly as it is!

As much as we swore this wouldn’t happen, our puppy Sneakers now spends most nights sleeping at the foot of our bed!

Max lost a top front-tooth, now he’s got that big goofy smile and a little lisp with some words! So cute, I can’t stand it. AND when he put his tooth under his pillow, he left a note for the Tooth Fairy: “Dear Tooth Fairy, could you draw me a picture of what you look like on this piece of paper? I would like to know what you look like. Your Frend, Max”

Thanks to those of you who emailed me your thoughts on www.tonycaselli.com – yeah, I like the simple feel of it, too, but I’m not sure if maybe I should spruce it up with more shots of shows I’ve directed, or if the layout just seems lame and blah…Obviously the goal is to have a site where folks can go, check out my work, and decide that they want to hire me to direct! (I’d still love feedback from anyone else – you can leave it as a comment here, or use the “contact me” button on the site!)

I’m looking out the window, and MAN do I not want to go out into that cold. And yet – the theatre calls! Have to get the space ready for our Friday concert. Plus get the the art gallery ready. Plus…well, y’know, it might be time to re-do my to-do list, maybe I’ll use a nice LJ post to get it all straight in my head. That’ll be worth some thought on the drive to work.

Have a great Tuesday morning!

  1. I heard that Heroes had a contingent season finale. So there is another season finale that hasn’t been shot yet. It is because of the strike.
I started watching Heroes, and then stopped. I haven’t watched any of this season.
I went to your website the other night. I really liked everything, except I think the blue on gray (your name) is a little hard to read. But it’s a great website. Very professional.

    • That’s good news about Heroes. I hope they get to make the “improved” version, whatever is supposed to happen!
Thanks for the feedback – I may change that color, I realized that it looks fine on my machine at home, but on my work computer it IS hard to read. Hmm….Maybe a deep red, or a brighter blue…

  2. I seem to remember last year that Heroes took a couple months off in Winter last year in the middle of the season. My guess (and this is only a guess) is that they probably had intended this or something like it to be the mid-season cliffhanger. Since they don’t want to tip their hand regarding the strike, they called it a finale.
That said, what Hiro did to Adam still has me creeped out.

  3. I love Chuck too! I think the Nerd Herd is hilarious. Yeah Heroes was a let down. Didn’t really “answer” all the questions promised. Seems like same ol’ same ol’ pretty much.
I think your site looks great. Maybe you could add some production photos to the first page-I love your headshot but those might be an attention grabber too. I think it’s really easy to navigate and looks very professional.

    • Yeah, the group at the Buy More is fun! (although I’m waiting to find the redeeming qualities in Morgan – he’s just TOO much the “character”.)
Thanks for the thoughts about the home page. Yeah, I may play with a little more splash on the first page – my headshot’s black and white, and kinda old, maybe something a little flashier…

  4. They re-shot this episode to make it a finale, both due to the strike and the fact that this season has sucked (as formally admitted by creator Tim Kring in EW). Overall, the show got better, but this ending was a mush of plot lines (why do we care about Maya again?) and too many threats (Sylar AND Adam?).
Your website needs more gayness. Interpret that as you will.
    MM

    • Maybe it’ll get better when they launch the new Chapter, after New Years?
And I DO care about Maya – A LOT! She’s the only one I can relate to! I mean, I can’t fly, or shoot lightning from my fingers, but I HAVE had my mascara run!!
(okay, in truth, (SPOILERS), I cheered when her brother died, cheered when she died, and booed when they brought her back to life. I was hoping Mohinder would bite it, too, cuz GOD is that character written poorly.)
