It’s Opening Day at Comerica Park!
I can’t go today, but I’m going next week.
Sadly, the Tigers have a losing record in the 4 games they’ve played so far this season, they went 1 and 3 at Toronto this week.
But Opening Day in Detroit is a huge event, full of tradition, hope, and a love of the sport! Let’s hope they turn their season around starting this afternoon!

I’m going to Anaheim tonight for the Sox-Angels. Should be a great game, but I’m also expecting a tearjerker after what happened yesterday.
Oh geez, what a tragedy that is. Did they do a tribute/memorial event?
Yeah they did. They had a moment of silence for Adenhart and his two passengers who died, and also had a video montage before the fireworks afterward. They also had his jersey hanging in the dugout and the camera would periodically catch a glimpse of it throughout the game. Kind of surreal.
I’ll bet that was a pretty emotional game to be at, J. What a shame.
