•First preview of OEDIPUS went very well last night, for several reasons:
1) We learned a lot, about moments that work well, and moments that can be made better.
2) The audience was VERY positive. During the show they were engaged, gasping, laughing (yep, there are a couple of laughs!). And after the show they were vocal in the talkback about how much they enjoyed the show.
So today we’ll polish some moments, change a few staging things, cut a couple of lines, and keep working!
•It was 25 years ago today that the space shuttle Challenger was lost with all hands. I remember that day very well. Here’s to the brave folks lost that day, and to those who continue to explore, knowing the risks: The future is out there, and it won’t come to us – we’re all in their debt for being among the pioneers out there searching for it.
•I have an exciting gig lining up. More info to come, but it’s going to be a lot of fun.
