Today is a special anniversary for me! 11 years ago today, I was able to come home from a hospital stay that had lasted about 2 and 1/2 months. (If you need more info about that, click here!) I’m a lucky man, and a grateful man, and these anniversaries are important reminders to me that not one second here should be taken for granted. I’m playing in my extra innings and, despite how challenging life and all that comes with it can be, I’m still focusing on the positive every chance I can. I hope you can too.

In addition to THAT anniversary, last week was my 31st Wedding Anniversary! My amazing wife Jeanne took me on a trip to Paisley Park in Minneapolis! (For the Prince fans out there, you know how awesome it was. For the non-Prince fans, go get Controversy, Sign o’ The Times, Purple Rain and Musicology off iTunes and enjoy.)
